Town of Perth Seniors' Neighbourhood Social Gatherings
The Town of Perth is hosting free Seniors’ Neighbourhood Social Gatherings where older adults can come together in a safe and welcoming space to meet new friends, share ideas, and help shape future programs that matter to them. To make sure these gatherings reflect the needs and interests of seniors, we’re inviting residents and caregivers to complete a short survey. Your feedback will help identify topics of interest, preferred neighbourhood locations, potential barriers to participation, and how you’d like these events to feel.
The survey is open to Perth residents aged 55+ and to caregivers or support persons who wish to share insight. It takes approximately 5–7 minutes to complete, and your input will directly shape future seniors’ programs and neighbourhood social gatherings in our community.

These informal gatherings are designed to be safe, welcoming, and close to home, offering opportunities to socialize, learn, take part in light recreational activities, and share ideas about programs and services that matter most to seniors. The goal is to reduce isolation, strengthen neighbourhood connections, and ensure seniors’ voices continue to help shape community programming in Perth.
Over time, feedback from these gatherings will help guide future seniors’ programs and community initiatives.
Please feel free to contact the Perthmore Community Association if you are interested in this Town of Perth initiative for seniors and/or to inform us that you have completed the Town of Perth's survey? Please click on the button below to be taken to the Contact Us page. Thank you!
