Christmas is a time when Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ by gathering together with family and friends to share love, tales and the exchange of gifts. Everyone  could celebrate it slightly differently but usually an attempt is made to recreate a traditional Christmas to bring back a fond memory of some special Christmas past. This could involve preparing a special meal, serving a fine wine or cocktail, putting up a battered, but much loved decoration, or just ensuring the simple pleasures of good company, games and songs are enjoyed by all. 

The Perthmore Community Association can only wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope that your Christmas 2025 is as good, or better, than that special Christmas past you still fondly remember. We cannot celebrate Christmas with you but we can gather together as friends and neighbours to sing a few Christmas carols and other Christmas themed songs to help get us in the Christmas mood.

Which Christmas Carols & Other Songs Would You Like To Hear?

There are so many traditional Christmas carols plus many more modern songs that have become part of the tradition. The PCA has only an hour during which we hope to include the songs you wish to hear. We cannot sing them all, however, plus too much ink and paper would be used up to print the lyrics of every song. Could you please, therefore, select 10-12 of your favourite songs from the titles below and click the button below to tell  us your preferred carols or songs? We will tabulate the results and print up the lyrics of the most preferred songs. Depending on turnout we might not have enough booklets of lyrics to give to everyone so please share or bring your own.
